DVD Decoder

I need to install a DVD decoder on my system after doing a clean install of WinXP. My recovery disks from HP were Win98 and will not work to reinstall the codec.

Does anybody have any recommendations for one. I checked some shareware/freeware out on google but it wasn't too user friendly. MS lists several including on it's windows media home page, but I have no idea which are good.

WinDVD4 is probably the best DVD player.

You can get just the decoder software from www.intervideo.com for $14.95. No need to get the whole package if you don't want to.
