Hi, ordered our first ppv movie on Dish, to use the free coupon we got some time ago, and the picture just got really bad. It's the first time we've had anything but an excellent picture. Are the ppv movies on a different satellite than the channels in the "everything pak"? I just checked our other tv's and they have the usual excellent picture.
Something unusual must have occurred. The PPVs are usually the absolute best PQ, even better than the HBOs and Showtimes.

Now I'm really confused, we recorded it on the pvr, and the picture is crytal clear on it. What could cause the picture to be bad on the TV and great on the pvr?

The surround effects were pretty good though.

I have to admit it wasn't that great, and I generally like science fiction movies, Like Dgenx321 said, It put me to sleep as well. Pretty lame movie.

I saw it once in the theater. The plot was at least unexpected based on the previews it was a complete surprise. It was not a movie I would go out of my way to watch again, but if it was on HBO and nothing else to watch I would probably watch it again.
