JVC TU-PVR9000 release date?

Does anyone know if the JVC TU-PVR9000 is under production yet or when it will be released. I have been on Dish Network since January of 2002 and have a RCA38310YX5 HDTV. In April of 2002 I went to a dealer to purchase the 6000. I had the PVR501 and a 301 on a second tv. He said on the last Charlie Chat it was announced that the PVR921 would be out soon and to wait. I have waited all of this time and still cannot watch HDTV. The only time I benefit by the wide screen is when I watch a DVD. I am on the pre-order list for the 921 at Dish Depot but am getting sick and tired of the release date being postponed. The RCA has a Direct TV tuner built in it and I was thinking of getting Direct TV in addition to Dish Network. But that seems a waste of money because of their limited amount of HDTV. I have the two dishes installed for HDTV from Dish Network. I definitely made the decision not to try to get a 6000 at this point. I know it is out of production. At the rate things are going for the PVR921, the August or September release date cannot be depended on.

Seeing how the PVR9000 will share software very similar to that on the 921, I don't think there is much of a chance of it arriving before the 921, certainly not more than a few weeks before the 921.
