HD Outage - St. Louis DMA

FYI - the HD local feeds for the St. Louis market went dead at about 8:22PM CDT. This outage affects KTVI, KMOV, KSDK, and KDNL.

Dish is aware of the problem, but has not established a timetable for repair.

Severe weather/storms effected reception for about 15 minutes.
It could have been either the signals from the locals to the uplink center, or the signals from 118 to the subscribers. Either way, it was weather related.

It also affected SD receivers as well. There was a message from DirecTV indicating there were technical problems. At least they opened up other network channels so that we could still watch our programs.

That was nice Direct was able to recognize the issue so quickly, and make the programming available for its subscribers. :)

The SD locals on DISH are always active. I also switched, as they were not effected. DISH allows you to select which (HD or SD) channels are "mapped down" to their known channel number, 2, 4, 5, etc., but both are always active and available.
