R15 300 0x121E

Received a new 121E upgrade today. Any new features to report? I just received an update on June 18th, now today. Can't notice anything new...anyone?

Only problem, all shows scheduled to record were deleted, as were the search lists. I had to go through the setup menus..

That version is not in national release as far as I see, but our Cutting Edgers are testing it here:

Thanks for the reply, I always receive the latest updates before they go national. Not sure why...I never force the updates. Nice to see they are still improving the units though.

If anyone needs anything checked or tested from this end with the latest update just let me know.

You get the CE software updates automatically without resetting your receiver and entering the special code during the special CE time windows? What does the software version lines say if you press MENU-SETUP-INFO & TEST?

I received it automatically overnight, when I turned on the receiver this morning I had to go through the guided set up before I could watch anything. I have never manually downloaded the updates, but always get them first...well ahead of the national release anyway. Always.

The info screen says:
Original Ver: 0x121E
Past Upgrade: 0x121E
Future Upgrade: Not scheduled.

June 18th I received 0x121C @ 2:35am. Quick updates these days. Wish they would update some channel logos too. Hope this helps.

Looks like your R15 is reformatting when it downloads that would account for your R15's new software being also your original.This would also account for why you have to resetup the R15.Does your recordings and Showcase recordings disappear?.Is this a new R15 or a refurb?.Sounds like your R15 is setup as a dealer unit or something.:confused:

This is a new unit and thankfully I don't lose recordings...I wish I would lose the Showcase recordings!! I really wish I could delete them at my convienience.
