I don't know how long it's been like this but I just noticed that Dish Depot has dropped the price of the 721 from $549 down to $519 with free 2 day shipping.

Sure as heck did since I ordered a 721 and quad lnb legacy, canceled that order, and then got the 721 and lnb for 30 less from dish depot. This being after I discovered this place ;) Just waiting for it all to arrive on Monday. Everything is wired and waiting. :) yay!

prices like this are why I wish Dish would authorize PCI DVB-S cards for people to use as recievers, as there are already more interesting/powerful PVR apps for free than what runs on the 721.

I could build a realy nice PC with twice the horsepower of the 721 w/two siemans DVB-S + Nagravision cards for the same price or slightly more.
