Is the problem of the "acquiring signal" message followed by pixellation of the picture been diagnosed as a software issue or a hardware issue? If software, does L110 repair the problem. If hardware, is this a bad tuner in 721? Do I have to return for another 721 if so? This problem for me showed up late last year and as of lately it is so bad that my 2nd tuner is totally useless.
I know alot of you have had this problem, I would like a fix if anyone has it!
Thanks!
I, too, would like to know if L110 fixes this problem. Most people say that this only happens on the 2nd tuner but for me this is not the case. I get this problem frequently on tuner one as well. If L110 doesn't correct this problem, I am going to RA mine and hope the refurb is better. It is really an annoying problem especially for me because I archive many shows to dvd for keepsake and I need the episodes to be free of sound glitches and pixellation. I don't think we will know if L110 fixes this problem until we actually get the download because right now Scott is the only one that has it and he never experienced the "acquiring signal" problem in the first place. I am extremely doubtful that L110 will correct this problem but I am keeping my fingers crossed.

I had this problem with my first 721 and it still occurs to a lesser degree on my present 721. I tend to believe its software and hope its fixed soon. Metro had one though that inut 2 quit altogether:( It might be hardware and software related...
