Used to be all my channels were good to go. Recently, I've lost good HD reception on many of the HD channels (VS., ESPNNews, Disney, etc.)

Looking at signal meters, 101 and 119 hang out around 95% - 98%

103(c) is around 65%. Looking at the 103(c) 2 transponders, I get the following:

69 31 62 25 67 29 62 25
68 24 61 19 68 20 NA NA
55 NA NA NA NA 15 NA NA
NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA

Does that look like dish realignment? If so, how much should I expect to pay? And do I call Directv to arrange one? (Given the steep roof the dish is on, I'm not going to try it myself)

Or, does that pattern of every other number being much lower indicate something else?

Yes, that looks like dish alignment.

I think a service call is around $80. Or, you can sign up for the protection plan and wait a month.

To add on to what Carl said if you don't have the protection plan and you want to add it I believe the price for the service call in the first month is $20 and free after that. But once you add the protection plan you have to keep it 12 months.
