721 Search Quit Working, New Bug??

This morning, March 15, my Search can't find anything after Sunday morning March 16. The Guide goes out 10 days and i can see shows, but search can't find them. I really hope this isn't something to do with the Guide getting corrupted again. We all lost our guides for several days before Dish came up with a fix. I hope this is not something similar, or the same again. Would everyone PLEASE try a search for any show occuring Monday or beyond and Post here if it works or not? Thanks! :(

I've had this happen to me once or twice -- you run a search, which brings back several hundred hits, but all on the Aux front panel input with 1994 air dates. I know, I can't figure it out either.

Anyway, things seem to go back to normal if I reboot, then wait overnight for the guide to update. Or maybe it's just the waiting and the problem debugs itself. I don't know.

I'm getting 0 hits back on any program searched for after Sunday (tomorrow) morning. I guess it is just me. Sounds like from your reply that a reboot may fix it. I'll let you know if it does.

Reboot followed by a Switch Check fixed it. Thanks for the suggestion! I tried just a reboot, but that didn't do it. I don't know what a Switch Check has to do with the Search function working properly. Maybe it had to be both to clear out some bad software code. Anyway, works fine now.
