921 Output

Since the 921 will have multiple outputs - component, composite & s-video - if one has OTA HD, Dish HD and Dish SD, will the 921 output all three inputs using component?

Or will one still have to use s-video or composite for the SD, while leaving component for HD?

Well with the 6000 units they have the ability to downconvert all HDTV to S-Video/composite or up convert all SDTV to component. I would assume that it will work the same with the 921. The only thing that might be different is the ability to do both simultaniously (on the 6000 you you have to switch back and forth).

The good news is the chipsets (broadcom) will support all of them at the same time. The 6000 supports either or.

No official word on how the JVC or the 921 will actually behave

Will all of the outputs remain active? If I use the DVI for my monitor, will the composites also send a signal to my VCR? Or will the output be menu selectable which will require me to choose one at a time?
