View Full Version : How Many Receivers?
How Many Receivers can you have on account with Dish Network?
Thanks....
Actually you can have more than six if you want. But at that point you are considered a "commercial" account. So you will pay more for the account, but not a completely new account, like most people think. This is what the installer told me when he was at my house the other day.

Just to clarify, you can have a maximum of 6 receivers on one residential account.

Yea, a commercial account would work and they have a really nice package for about $34.99/mo which is called Maxview which includes some programming from At150, minus Fox Sports and the music stations.
The only downside is that you cannot get any preminum channels :(
The upside of course is Dish won't telemarket you once a quarter to try to get you to buy more premium channels.

I've had Dish for 3 years and I've never been called asking to add premium channels.
I only have the Top50 program though -- maybe they only bother those that already have at least one Premium channel...

This is true, in the 2+ years with Dish, they have only called once to offer Showtime. This was when the "free 3 months" gift was expiring and wanted to know if I wanted to keep it or have it shut back off. No hassle, it was shut off.
