Red light if update problem?

If a recording was in progress when a software update was sent to that DVR, would that generate a red light?

The update should wait until the recording is finished.

I've got this issue as well. WTF? Is something wrong with DVR or this just a new "feature"? :confused: :nono2:

It is actually orange. You will see red when it is phoning home.
