I've had the PVR721 for about two weeks now and I continually lose stations (acquiring signal message or just a black screen). This is true for both Sat 1 & Sat2. I have checked the swirches and it indicates that reception is verified.
I have done a hard reboot but the problem continues. I am thinking about doing the factory reset from the menu to see if it will solve the problem. I checked the owners manual and I could not locate anything on what this function actually performs.
Can anyone explain this to me? Will I lose recorded data? What are the pitfalls involved in doing a factory reset?
