UTV glitch

I had my first UTV problem a few days ago. I had a few programs scheduled to record. If you looked at the Program guide when the programs were on the air, it showed "Recording." If you then went to "My shows", it would normally also show the program currently being recorded but on that day it did not. It had already failed to record a couple of shows that were scheduled and even though the Program guide said the shows were currently being recorded, they were not. I finally did a re-boot and when it came back on, the shows started recording for real. I have not had a problem since, though I have lost some of the trust I had in the machine. Has anyone else had this problem?

I haven't had anything like that either, and one of my units is nearing the two-year mark.

Heat can be an issue for UTV units. Do you have yours well-ventilated?

Yes, well ventilated! Sitting in the same place for almost a year!
