HR20 Keeps switching to "Active Channel"

Problem started 2 days ago. Whether watching live tv, a recording or even one of the Active info's it will bring up the active screen. The only thing that changed was a new TV set. I thought maybe my remote was sending ghost signals but batteries out and I still have the same problem. And I got a new entertainment center so the box now sits inside. I thought perhaps overheating? I removed it and same problem. After a reboot I can sometimes watch a show for 5-10 minutes and then it goes back to the active channel.

I called customer service. Love how now you have to reboot before get a rep! They want me to do a reformat and before I proceed I wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this.

I haven't been as dilligent as you have, but I have been surprised to find that one of my HR20-700s has been on the Active Channel when I first turned on my TV in the morning each of the last couple of days. As far as I know, no one in my family watches this channel, so it has been surprising. I had just assumed that someone had hit the wrong button on the remote by accident.
