Anyone out there subscribe to it, or even use the demos of the games? As lame as it may sound, I enjoy some of the games. I don't like the sports of golf or basketball, but the Playin TV games are enjoyable. On 3 pointer (the basketball shooting game) I go up to 1000 points with 100% shooting accuracy. It was fun trying to improve and beat my scores. Some games are just lame, like Race and Azteca, Tomatov can be fun. I guess I would be willing to subscribe to Playin TV if 1) It was $2-3 a month and 2) If you had access to the whole library of games. 5 games a week is not that much. I like casino games, but not on Playin' TV.

I have tried a couple of the demos. They reminded me of my Atari 2600. I will stick with my Game Cube.

The internet games are even better than the ones on Dish, but that was a nice try. Hopefully they can get some improved software programmed for a little better games. If they got some more that are like some of the web based games on yahoo maybe they can get some more subscribers.

They could throw it in as part of the America's Everything or AT-150 pack.

Does anyone know where I could download or purchase the game TALISMAN or similar to it?

I think that would be a great idea, adding it to the AEP making it more attractive. If they gave the customers some free PPV's like one or two a week to boot and some other tidbits for those that have that package then that would help even further too. Giving the customers a little something extra for combination packages helps keep them customers. If it would cost Dish too much to do this though they would not do it because they would not want to increase the cost of the package.

Is there a ppv deal where you can pay so much a month and receive unlimited ppv's ?

Jacob, I would think you a dealer would know the answer to a question like that.

Of course the answer is no.

I am not sure on Dish Network but when I worked for the cable company all PPV revenues were split 50 50 between the cable company and the program provider.

While the satellite company would enjoy a steady stream each month from someone buying a unlimited PPV ticket the providers would frown on that as they would be loosing (or is that losing?)money.

And with that equation we could not even include special events such as Wrestling, boxing or Cricket.

Is Talisman the one that's like Bejeweled (http://zone.msn.com/bejeweled/)?

My 4 year old daughter likes to play the games. I search down to the freebee game and let her play. So far I have convinced her that the demo game is the only one. Not looking forward to when she figures out there are others.
