This is about our D11-500 receiver.

Onlly odd transponders are showing signals, strong, over 90. Even transponders are 0.

Yesterday it was searching for signal, got some channels. Today there is only a black screen, blue banner gives channel number, but states Channel Not Available.

Does this from all incoming cables to the house. Have tried resetting with red button, removing access card, and refreshing from the DTV website.

No changes.

What to try next?

check every connection from the rcvr to the dish, make sure that each connector is tight. then reset the rcvr

what that guy said. if that guy doesnt work take the box to a room thats working. If your still getting an issue call D* and try to get a replacement. If its a leased box I think its only 20 bucks for a new one.

Oddly, this happened to my sister at her house on Sunday, but on an R10 DVR. She had black screen on all channels, but could press GUIDE or INFO and see on-screen graphics. I haven't heard from her since then if the problem went away ...

Banner, No Programming.

Double check your connections as previously stated, but also try resending your authorization (call in to direcTV and say 721, or you can use the website but I forgot the link)
