Funny that they used the same family for both, even funnier that they used the same exact photo, just reversed. I guess ad agencies can be lazy too.

That's what happens when advertising agencies use stock photos. I picked up a rag at a convention a while back that had the same picture in the same rag two pages apart. :lol:

When I saw the "find some something wrong with this picture". I thought, "Who in the hell would give the remote to a 5 year old girl". I think I'm still right about that one. :D

Otherwise, I bought this issue of cosumer reports, but it really didn't have much more information than a basic faq.

Same thing happened in our yellow pages a few years ago. Three plumbing companies had the same photo in their ads.

Funny, same family is happy with DirecTv, happy with cable. Wonder which one they were with first, lol. Wouldn't that be deceitful advertising since they are not actually watching that particular service?

Why, these two photos are completely different. One shows a righthanded little girl sitting on the left of her family, and the other picture shows a left-handed little girl sitting on the right of the family. :rolleyes:

They probably were trying to save a few bucks by using stock photos... Really they should have paid a family $500 and got permission to have unlimited rights to advertise DirecTV for the photo.
