I, we still have the select package from some time ago, just to get the local channels here in Wa. state. They tried to get us to upgrade some time ago, but did not need all the other stuff. So, what do they do now, start by dropping 4 channels from our package, I'm sure to try to get us to upgrade from the package we have, that we signed up for, but they no longer offer, but were told months ago would stay the same. Guess they don't care about customers. They said it was by customer response that these 4 channels were dropped, so little use on them. Bull. TNN has little use. Nobody from DTV ever asked us for our opinion. So, scre_ them.

Cancel and switch to Dish or cable is you dont like it.
that was there attitude also, so much for customer service. just a way for them to force you to pay more for an upgrade, to get those channels back. they didn't turn off those 4 numbers for lack of use, if you think so, your pretty naive.

I have Total Choice Plus w/Locals BTW....Directv is trying to get people to switch to the higher packages....its a business decision....as I said if you dont like it switch..Pure and Simple.
That's kinda funny because I'm in process of switching from dish to dtv due to bad csr's at dish. I had a different issue though. Maybe nearly all csr's are bad or get bad direction from higher ups.

When you really break it down, I'm just happy when I get a CSR who has English as their primary language.

I think it's predominantly Hindi. I personally like the voice delay when talking with India.....
