I couldn't help but chuckle when I saw this on Pegasus' front page:

Pegasus Satellite Television has learned that some of our competitors have been making false statements and misleading claims about us relating to their service offerings compared to ours. They are even offering "bounty" money to local retailers who convert Pegasus subscribers to the competing service. These tactics are highly misleading, and we want to alert you so that you do not make any misinformed decisions regarding your Pegasus Satellite Television service.

This could not be further from the truth.
Pegasus Satellite Television has a very strong lineup of programming packages, premium channels and on-demand services, which are competitively priced. In addition, DIRECTV is increasing the number of television markets in which local television channels are available.
Pegasus Satellite Television has leading technology and a variety of equipment choices, including DIRECTV® Digital Video Receivers powered by TiVo®.
Note the bold... what the devils at Pegasus don't tell you is that their Tivo's cost hundreds of dollars more than ones purchased by D* customers, unless of course you buy on eBay.
