New Sub Promos

Has anyone heard if DTV is going to be offering any new promos for new subscribers in the next couple of weeks. My sister just bought a HDVR2 set up but she is willing to wait to activiate it if DTV is going to be offering something good (HBO / Cinemax again, etc..). Does somebody have a inside source that they can ask? Thanks!

They still have the HBO/Max deal if you have a credit card. ALL customers must sign a 1 year contract.

Could she activate the account on-line and still get the HBO/Cinemax promo or does she need to call DTV to get the free 3 months of HBO/Max?

Whats the harm in making a simple phone call to Directv, keeneking?When I activated my new account and HDVR2 a couple of months ago, I was right in between the old Showtime and the then new HBO/Cinemax, promos.They let me pick which one I wanted.It was no big deal.
