It's finally upon us and for those of us that want a broader view of the news with many different perspectives, I wanted to post the following:

C-SPAN now showing Canadian Broadcasting News

Fox News is planning to use Sky News (U.K.) during overnight ours.

HITN (9401 Dish) Showing EuroNews (Spanish) Also regularly scheduled TV Española newscast.

BBC America now showing BBC World News

SafeTV (9711 Sky Angel) Has Deuche Welle news in it's schedule. I also beleive that one of the other 9400 channels has regularly scheduled Deuche Welle news in English

Univision now has broken into 24 Hour News with support from TeleVisa (Mexico) (Spanish)

Galavision has regularly scheduled TeleVisa broadcasts.

C-Span (Directv Channel 350) and BBC America (Directv Channel 264) carrying BBC Coverage (CSpan is carrying BBC1 coverage and BBC America is using BBC World News)
Newsworld International (Channel 366 on Directv)......CBC coverage

(Local Cleveland Fox affliate carrying FoxNewsChannel...and one of the local PBS Channels carrying BBC World News)

As of 1:30am Fox News Channel is still going live with their coverage (Not Sky News')

LINK is the channel that has it. They also have a news program called Mosaic which has translated news reports from various news programs from the middle east.

Also, TV Japan (640) has a number of news broadcasts in English that are free to watch. Set the alternate audio to Japanese to get the English audio for the programs where English audio are available.

CCTV-9 (D*-455) Is providing coverage. It's actually rather good.

I tuned over to BBC-A to watch some BBC-World, AAARRRGGG they still manage to get commercials in there! They just plaster them over the 30 second "countdown" breaks. It is fun to watch BBC-W again to get the British take on things.
