I live in a college football town, which means lots of tailgating. When I'm out tailgating, I often see people with little, smaller that usual dishes out there picking up directv at their tailgate.
Are these travel dishes? I've scoured the web and haven't been able to find anything about it. Now that I have directv, can I just buy one of these travel dishes and pick up my regular programming out at my tailgate?
We'd be interested in getting college gameplan and being able to still catch the other big college games while we're tailgating for our game.

Anything you buy packaged as a "travel dish" is probably going to cost you a few.
I reserve the right to be wrong. :)

You can buy a small dish and tripod from DirecTV's web site for ~$50.
