Movers program?

How sticky about the 12 months provision are DirecTV?
I moved using the program 11 months ago. By the time the installed is needed, 9/2 it will be more than 12 months since I moved but a little less since the last install (because i could not get an install for about 2weeks)

Any idea if I would qualify?

My first option would be to call, but I am concerned that I get told one thing by a rep and then end up being charged.
The way i see it, if I am going to pay for the install, I would rather use an installer of my choice.

The 12 months started on the date of install. What you could probably do is call D* and have them set the appt up for one day after the 12 month anniversary so you're not charged. If the appt is set up before then it's $199 automatically added to your account.

I am curious: do you know if that $199 includes a dish?
Installer I spoke to here wants $150 for wires and $99 for the dish...

Good luck with the move. I used the Movers Program once (3 years back) and was generally happy with the process.
