Olympic HD on 811 w/ Dish 500 antenna?

Sorry in advance if this a completely insane question, but I'm on a shoestring budget and was wondering: if I bought a used 811 receiver, would it receive any of the HD Olympic channels just using my current Dish 500 w/ dual LNB?

Probably not, the 811 is an MPEG2 ONLY receiver.

All the new Dish HD channels are MPEG4, requiring a ViP series receiver.

Actually, as of 4 days ago, ALL of the HD channels, new and old, require MPEG4 receivers. Dish has been replacing existing, active 811s for ViP211s for a couple of months. But buying one and adding it now will not get you the free upgrade.

To get any HD from Dish now, you need to get either 129 or 61.5 and a ViP (MPEG4) receiver.
