Sticky guide?

I was visiting family last week and they have a Dish DVR. A cool feature I noticed (and would like to have) is the ability to set the guide to only show HD content and keep it that way (without having to create a custom guide manually). With theirs, you simply keep pressing guide until it shows just HD programs. From then on, that becomes the default guide. Of course, you can change it by pressing guide again multiple times.

Is there a way to make the HD guide "sticky" like this on the HR20/21?

The only way to do all HD without having to use the category filter every time would be to set up a favorites list.

You can hide the SD duplicates. It will still show some SD channels but any channel that has an HD version it will not show the SD version too.

You can do it using the category filter by pressing GUIDE > GUIDE > CH DOWN > SELECT. I guess if I weren’t so lazy, I’d create a macro on my remote for this.

Yup. I was aware of those options. It just seems reasonable to bring the guide up each time in the same mode it was in when last exited. I wonder if this is on the official wish list?
