How much 6000 is left in the channel?

Any dealers or people with contacts to dealers have any idea how much stock of 6000's is left in the channel? I can't imagine Dish positioning themselves to run out of stock before the replacement STB is being produced.

They could have the next reciever ready to roll as soon as 6000s are gone. If the rumors are true that it will be under $400 it could seriously crimp the sales of the 6000s. They probably want to run the 6000 out first before introducing a new model that is cheaper.

That would also seriously crimp my plans to ebay my 6000 to fund a 921 purchase.

Kagato: Mine too! I was never into the PVR stuff before but you guys have wetted my interest. I still will probably put it on ebay to help finance the 921.

I read that the 6000 replacement will be the 811.
