NBA & NHL on Dish Network

I sub to both these packages and was wondering how Dish handles this. Will they automatically renew the package next year?
I really don't think I'll get the NBA in anticipation for MLB EI, but I do want the NHL.

How does it work at DirecTV?

DirecTV automatically renews unless you cancel. Usually it is at a lower price than earlybird.

I have not seen any info to indicate DISH Network automatically renews anything.
