I am not a moderator, nor do I play one on TeeVee.

Over the past several months, I have been reposting articles from various media sources. Recently, I have reposted articles from the SF Gate (http://www.sfgate.com), which is the online portal for the San Francisco Chronicle and the Sacramento Bee (http://www.sacbee.com).

Because these articles are copyrighted, I can only copy the relevant portions and include a link back to the original article. Because of this, I may unintentionally quote stuff which is OUT OF CONTEXT in relation to the entire article. That's why I refer back to the original article.

Is there a bias in selecting the articles? Probably. However, the SF Chronicle is a mainstream paper in the SF Bay area.... for better or worse.

Thank you.

How about not quoting at all and just put your spin on the article? That way people will be forced to read it rather than piece together it from your quotes.

Because a brief synopsis of the article is needed, and gives an indication of what the article is about.

Oh I know, but the first couple paragraphs contain what you are looking for...
