Replace DirectTivo with HR21?

Hi folks,

My beloved Series 2 Hughes DirecTivo is dying!! :( So far I have not jumped on the HD bandwagon. If I was to buy an HR21 at Best Buy, can I use it with my existing 3LNB dish while waiting for installation of a 5LNB for HD? I don't see why I couldn't, but I thought I would ask this great resource.

I don't seem to be eligible for the loyalty offers, at least from the web site. I only have one TV, so when the Tivo crashes were off the air and my tribe grows restless.

I used my old dish from my HD Tivo until I got around to putting up the new one. No problems for me. I even got west coast feed in mpeg4 HD with the 3lnb dish, which I didn't expect.

Get an HR22... It has twice the recording space.. its just hitting store in the last three days... check your local costco.. $169.99 here in LA...
