They could start a new thread and move the our new friend's post into it, locking this oldlie moldie after that.

Not that I'm suggesting anybody do that. ;)

And, Miami Brett, what's coming out the other channel?

And, yes, welcome to DBSTalk.

Boy, we're going to need a lot more than that to help.

If everything was correct, you wouldn't be getting Spanish out of one channel, right?.

What channel?
What's in the other channel?
HD and SD broadcasts?
Locals, satellite, or both kinds of broadcasts?

Miami Brett,

Just so we're on the same page.

You're saying there's a channel you're tuning to and all you hear is Spanish rather than English? Other channels are playing English though.

What channel are you having the problem with?

That channel does support SAP in Spanish for a number of shows. Anyone got any ideas why one channel would be in SAP and not the others? Wasn't there a shortcut key for toggling SAP at one time?

Miami Brett, can you turn the SAP off on that channel?

I split this thread out from the old one as all it would do is confuse folks .. Now Miami Brett can be better served here.

This is such a strange problem...I wonder if the station itself got the feeds mixed up.

I guess it's always possible that Cuba has figured out how to jam DirecTV signals now too. For those of you who don't live down here...Cuba has some very powerful radio stations that just overwhelm AM signals around here at night. Somehow they just don't abide by FCC rules :).
