According to Lyngsat 61.5 is Echostar 3 and 148 is both Echostar 1 & 2.

Echostar 1 = Odd Transponders at 148 (Original sat at 119)
Echostar 2 = Even transponders at 148 (Orriginally at 119)
Echostar 3 = All Dish and Sky Angel transponders at 61.5 (Has always been here :))
Echostar 4 = In-orbit back-up (nearly dead) at 119
Echostar 5 = Was at 110, but has just recently arrived at 119 for in-orbit back-up (ConUS only)
Echostar 6 = Some ConUS transponders at 110 (recently moved from 119)
Echostar 7 = Providing service for All transponders (ConUS and Spot) at 119
Echostar 8 = Providing most transponders (ConUS and all spots) at 110

Coming next month
Echostar 9 = KA (different band) satellite at 121. Usage of space is the source for many threads o speculation.

International programming is available at 148 and 61.5. RAI International also is at 119 also right now. Dish Latino packages are at 119/110 and require a Dish 500 or equivilant.

See ya
Tony

Just a note- The three Radio Maria channels and BVN TV are only available at the 61.5 location.
