How good are the premium channels on VOD? Is it worth changing my base package to get these channels in VOD?

No. The VOD movies still expire if you didn't get the chance to watch them.
I'm going to vote not sure, because I'm not sure a simple yes or no is adequate.
If you do not feel that the premium channels are worth while to watch and record from, I don't think they will be of value for you for VOD. I have premier, and I schedule recordings from the various movie channels regularly. I don't download VOD's from those channels, as I get all I want simply by recording directly from the channels.

I voted no sure, because it's up to what you want. I am like Carl, I just set up recordings. All though I have been downloading episodes of Weeds because I never really got into that show, so it's nice to catch up.
I would download alot more if it was in HD.

There are no expiration dates on VOD movies from premium channels.

I stand corrected, my mistake. I record mostly off of the actual premium channels without using VOD much.

No problem. I'm getting Showtime and Encore for free for 6 months so I was able to dl then. It surprised me there was an expiration date.

Not worth upgrading your services for on its own, IMHO... not a lot of good content from what I've seen thus far.
