Shiites uprising against Sadam in Basra

Just heard (on a popular radio broadcast) that they are rising against Sadam's forces in Basra and have killed the chief Baath Party officer in the area. This is what was expected to happen eventually.

But we really want the Sunni Muslims to rise up, as the Shiite of Iraq will eventually align with Iran.

Uprising are fine if they are in support of us. They could be against Saddam and against us...

SH's troops are said to be shelling Basra now. Apparently hiding in the city didn't work and the people chased them out.
