Search feature enhancement request

Hello guys! Wanted to ask you for an enhancement to this board software.

Owning a 721, and wondering about hard drive defragmentation, I did a search on "defrag", and got back a list of topics that include that text.

There's only one problem with this feature. There was one topic that had over 300 posts in it, and when I clicked on the topic link from the search results window, it just takes me to the first page of the topic.

is there anyway to change this so that it actually takes you to the first post in the topic that has the text that you searched for?

If a topic is only a page or two, I can use the browser's "Find" feature to find the text that I am searching on. But when a topic has many pages, then it becomes quite a chore to do.

Anyways, for what its worth. Thanks for running a great site.

But that would be a great feature, I've run into the problem too on most vBulletin sites...

We have already thought of this and have a fix already in place.

Once you search you will go to the thread which has that word in it.

Now once your in that thread you can search within the thread to find that word. :)

If you look at the bottom of the messages you will see something like the graphic I have included below. Just type your keyword "defrag" in there and you will see all posts in the thread that have that keyword. :)

Yup a search in a search. We are the only board I know with this feature. :) (And it works rather well too!)

We like staying on the cutting edge. :D
