I had major video dropouts and audio stuttering last night during the CMA awards. Anyone else get this?

I've been noticing terrible audio stutters on ABC (channel 13) as well as the occasional stuck video frame while the audio continues to play normally. I haven't switched to my OTA signal to compare, but the problem seems to occur quite frequently.
Seems to me this all started after Ike. Anyone else seeing similar behavior?

Yes, Channel 13 has been really bad lately. I have a friend who has done comparisons between DTV and OTA and he says there is no difference -- the audio and video stuttering happens even OTA.
Last night, in the middle of a show, it went from HD 16x9 to SD 4x3 and stayed that way for a few minutes, before correcting.
I'd say maybe it got worse after Ike, but I was noticing the problem well before the hurricane came through.

Just found this regarding ch 13.
I have been having the same problems with straight OTA, or DirecTV's feed of Channel 13. It is not a problem on our end.
These are known issues at Ch-13. They have installed a new encoder (for the third time) and are still working through configuration issues with the mfr, Harris. There are engineers at 13 and Harris that are scratching their heads on this one. Ch-2 has the same encoder and they are not having similar issues. Trust me...the entire "brain trust" is working on this one. No ETA on these issues at this time...as it's trial and error time!
Best holiday regards to all!

Added PBS - KUHT (8) to the lineup
I don't know if this is the same as the stuttering reported here in November or not. Was there any resolution?
We're having trouble with the locals randomly 'pausing' for brief intervals, not isolated to any one receiver (H20-600's at the moment).
I've noticed it at least on KIAH 39, KHOU 11, KTRK 13, over the last week. It's not consistent. No troubles on any of the nationals. Problem has been noted in the evenings...but of course that's when there are butts in front of TVs.
FYI for the channel line-up. KHCW 39 became KIAH 39 over the summer. No more CW branding.

Houston Fox 26 is going nuts with audio stuttering right now for me. Anyone else?
It's aggravating trying to watch the championship game like this, but it will be truly devasting if it happens during Jack Bauer's return.

I had the same problem both over the air and D*. Luckily D* was kind enough to turn on 398 Fox HD NY

I only watched about 5 minutes of the game because it was so bad. I just couldn't take it and changed the channel.

ABC 13 came back from a commercial in Standard Def yesterday during "Lost".
Then it briefly flashed a Houston traffic cam shot, then when back to HD. Strange.
For a minute there I thought the traffic cam was part of the time-traveling in the show.

This was OTA as well. So I think it was a local issue and DTV just passed through what they were getting. It was annoying, but at least it was only temporary.

Anyone else having issues with Fox 26 tonight during the World Series? It's very jumpy and even gives 771 every so often. All the other channels are fine.

Fox channel 26 keeps falling out of HD into SD for a short while, most time less than 30 seconds. Usually this happens when the show first starts, but today it happened once during the middle of American Idol.
Is this the fault of the affiliate, the national feed, or DirecTV?

I've been having a lot of audio dropouts on KPRC 2 for the past several days. Apparently this is happening to several people as well since it was reported in the avsforum thread linked below.

Any ideas?

Unfortunately I have no solution, but can confirm that I'm seeing the exact same thing.

+2. It's horrible and has been that way for over a month. I have all but given up watching sports on DTV channel 2 and just switch over to my antenna feed.

Channel 45 Univision has been added in HD awhile back. That should be added to the list.
