on my local nbc, i get video dropouts (black screen and/or blue screen) lasted for a few seconds every once in a while. noticed it alot on the "today show" this morning.

using a hr21-100

Complete drop out, black screen and/or blue screen lasted for a few seconds to over a minute. No problem on OTA.

Channel: NBC (20) (OTA 20-1)
Date: 9/17/08 Time: 4pm-5pm (Approx), switched to OTA
Date: 9/18/08 Time: 5:05pm switched to OTA until 6:30pm, Ok then

I concur. Nearly every day and not just on local programming. It also occurred yesterday during NASCAR race on channel 26.

20 nbc and 26 abc are owned by the same company. i am seeing that the dropouts occur at the beginning of shows or after the local news cuts in to air their crap.

After getting new HD TV, I found that I was getting 10 decodable fractional HD channels thru Comcast basic service, including all the SWFL locals and two different HD PBS channels with different lineups (WGCU) and resolutions.

Need to keep Comcast for broadband service. And these Comcast locals for Naples seem much better quality than those from DirecTV.

Shows like NOVA afford most thrilling HD experience I've seen so far.

not really an issue with Directv then.

Is anyone else having trouble with the Ft Myers HD locals (searching for satellite)? My SD locals are fine, just the HD locals on Wednesday and Tuesday evening (28 and 29 November). Thanks.
