I would be wary about anyone who claims to be writing from Iraq. The internet is an anonymous medium and it is all to easy to start a hoax.

I agree with you raj, however if you look at how long this guy has been writing in his archives, this is a lot of work for a hoax.

I've been reading this one a while and, if it is a hoax, it is pretty elaborate as I have found several who tested the writer in various ways and found them legitimate. I think MSNBC also has linked out to this person.

I also heard about this blog, I heard about it on excite.com. It appears that this is real. All though it looks like the guy has not been posting in a few days.
