Matlock on WGN recorded today but will not play?

I recorded Matlock on WGN (307) at 9:00 AM. The program recorded and subsequently appeared in my List. I selected the program and pushed the Play button. The HR21-700 v. 0x255 responded with the delete program message. The Info for this program showed that it recorded 60 minutes at the correct time. I had seen this problem when I had an HR20-100, and I could fix it by resetting the DVR. The program would play normally, but when I reset the HR21, the Matlock program was gone from the List. History showed that the program had been recorded. No delete showed in History. What could have caused this behavior? I have never had this on the HR21. The HR21 is connected to a AM21 and a Linksys WGA600N.

Yep, this is unfortunately an all too common occurrence. They even came up with an acronym for it: "IKD" for "instant keep or delete". Do a search on either and you'll see a lot of reports about it.

If you haven't tried it already, try unplugging the DVR and waiting a few minutes before plugging it back in. Some swear that fixes it...
