Just received a message on my HR21-100 about not having satellite signal and on the "More Info" note it said I should reset my receiver.

I reset it and I am back. But strange that it lost signal. Is it common? It is foggy here in Santa Clara, CA but it is like this almost every morning.

I am running 0x255, fyi.

Signal strength at 101, Tuner1:

All seem to be in the 90's or 88-89 except 26 is 0 and 28 is 63.

Signal strength at 101, Tuner2:

Similar to tuner1, except there is a 63 in the second column of 18 is 62, 26 is 0 and 28 is 63.

Satellite 110:

All N/A except 8, 10 and 12 which are 94, 88, 91 (both tuners)

Satellite 119:

All N/A except 22-32, out of which 25 is 0 and all others are upper 80's to upper 90's (both tuners)

Satellite 99(c):

All N/A except 1-14 where 2 is 69, most are mid-70's and a couple in the mid-80's (both tuners)

Satellite 99(s):

All N/A except 1-6, 15-24 and 1 is 95, 3 is 94, 4 is 31, 5 is 91 and all others are 0
(both tuners)

Satellite 103(s):

All N/A except 1-6, 15-24 and all 0's except 15 which is 97, 18 which is 100, 19 which is 64, 20 which is 36 and 23 which is 97 (both tuners)

Satellite 103(c):

All N/A except 1-14 and all are in the upper 70's to lower 80's (both tuners)

Satellite 95:

All N/A except 1, 7, 10, 12, 13, 15, 22, and 23 and all are in the upper 70's to mid 80's except 23 which is 0 (both tuners)

Seems like your satellite is aimed pretty well. Might have just been a little glitch or something.

Also sometimes static can build up on the lines and cause issues.

Must be, because it has been ok since the reset. Phew.
