Read the PDF again but I can't get categorey search to work

Menu->Search->Keyword->???

I used to press space as the PDF says to then go to continue sports, sub category but now it won't let me get to categories with just a space?

I tried AANY -> continue -> sports ->football but it returns nothing??

actually looking for cycling for my wife and I can one in the guide on Sunday but search doesn't

actually looking for cycling for my wife and I can one in the guide on Sunday but search doesn'tUnfortunately, DIRECTV eliminated this "back door" trick to find programs based on category only. Why? You got me ... it was a great little trick ... :(

The AANY/ALL searches only work if you put a term following, so you could probably get something with a search like "FOOTBALL" > Continue > Category: High-Def, or some variation.
