If they could do HD and add a few more, they could really start taking off.

"The Practice" didn't do so well in syndication. It was the type of show you could really watch just once (like 24). I wonder how well BL will do.

They'll never do HD, for the simple fact that most of their affiliates are so low-budget that they could never afford to broadcast it even if it was made available.

Well here in Kansas City KPXE 50 has been "Digital" for awhile. Most ION affiliates that are in digital usually multicast.

KPXE 50.1 = ION East
KPXE 50.2 = qubo (Kids Network)
KPXE 50.3 = ION Life (Great Channel)
KPXE 50.4 = Worship

Yes I know that. However, that doesn't mean they can broadcast in HD. HD requires many transmitter upgrades, not to mention they'd have to ax those subchannels to get enough bandwidth.
