I'm running a Slimline 5 to a Spaun Multiswitch (WBS41602NF), then
to a few HR20s and an HR21. I live on the east coast about 60 miles
north of NYC.
Last night out of no where I get Searching for Signal...and not a cloud in the sky.
Whats unusuall is that some satellites and transponders do get signal....
101
All 0's except for 8, 10, 12, 24, 26, 28, 30, 32 which are high 80's to mid 90's.
110
All 3 are in the mid 90's.
119
22,23,25,27,29,31 are all 0's
24,26,28,30,32 are mid 90's
103c
1,3,5,7,9,11,13 are all 0's
2,4,6,8,10,12,14 are low 80's
Any ideas on what could be causing such readings ??
Thanks !

satellite needs peaking or Multiswitch has issues. are there any open ports on the multiswitch?

I don't think it needs peeking, everything was in the mid 90's before this.
Yes, I believe there are some ports connected to RG6, but no receiver at
the other end yet.

I had the exact same problem (even TPNs were good, odd were bad). It was a bad LNB. Not sure if that is the only thing that causes it, but it definately was in my case.

swap a known bad connection to an unused port to see if it helps.
It may be the LNB

Do unused ports on the spaun need to be terminated ??
Directly at the switch or can I terminate at the room ?
