I currently use a slinglink turbo powerline 4-port adapter for my DVRs and slingbox, but am not having good luck. are there multi-port gaming wireless adapters that would do the same job, or are they all 1 port?
try a wireless bridge or a router that can be made to be a bridge.

Just plug the gaming adapter into a switch (or hub), and the rest of your devices into the switch.

I'm using a Linksys WRT54GL with Tomato firmware (http://www.polarcloud.com/tomato), with the device acting as a wireless bridge. Works quite well.

I was lucky enough to get a Buffalo WLI-TX4-G54HP before a lawsuit stopped them from being manufactured. You might still find one on the Internet. It's worth searching for.

I have the same Buffalo unit and it's very nice. Anything heard concerning the lawsuit - the only thing I've heard is that it's been thrown out of court in Japan.
I grabbed a wireless print server (Netgear WGPS606) for a really good price. It's easy to configure it as a bridge and it lets you plug in 4 devices.

If you are looking for a wireless adapter .. You should consider the Linksys WGA600N .. Also, if you can wait a few weeks ;)

I have one too. Great little box. I only wish it was 802.11n compatible for more bandwidth, to better match my Apple Airport-based WLAN (two Airport Extreme n's and an Express n are my "backbone" so to speak).

From the Bullafo website http://www.buffalotech.com/products/wireless
Regrettably, the Court of Appeals has decided not to stay the injunction in the CSIRO v. Buffalo et al litigation during the appeal period. Although Buffalo is confident that the final decision in the appeal will be favorable and that the injunction will be lifted, Buffalo is presently unable to supply wireless LAN equipment compliant with IEEE 802.11a and 802.11g standards in the United States until that decision is issued.

If I had been paying attention at the time, I would have gotten a "Turbo g" router to match. For the sake of the OP, this wireless adapter has four ports.

Thanks for the info. Seems like Buffalo is getting shafted by the domestic courts!
Imagine that:(

I use D-Link's DAP-1522 and have been very happy with it. It does wireless N and has 4 wired connections available.

That sounds suspicious, almost like a Tibber puzzle. I already have a WGA600N and will be needing another one after I get my 3rd HR2X on Sep. 16!:)

WGA600N only has one ethernet port...
Also, plugging a switch into that single port can cause network collisions as the IP addressing scheme is not passed through the port to the switch, if I remember correctly.

That could be a problem with a hub, but I haven't experienced it with a switch.
One effect of the Buffalo injunction was that I was able to sell one of mine on amazon.com for 50% more than I paid for it (I listed it for slightly less than others were asking and it went in a few days.)

Get most any Linksys wireless router and put dd-wrt on it. Configure it as a client bridge and all ports (including the WAN port) can be used for any device.

Yes, it only has one port .. but if it's mainly for a DIRECTV receiver .. It's a good choice at this point.
I have 2 of these and they work great: Buffalo WLI-TX4-G54HP
Also remember if you have HR21s you can use the pass-through ports to daisy chain devices ;)
I use a Linksys WET54G bridge with a 4 port hub and it works fine for me.

Wireless 4 port client box. Works with B, G, N and has 4 10/100 ports. Been using it for my HTPC, PS3, HR20 and Slingbox for about 6 months now. Connected to a Trendnet TEW-633GR Wireless-N 2.0 router
I use a WGA600N in my bedroom to connect my HR20-100, HD-DVD player, and BluRay player to my main DIR-655N wireless router. I have a 4 port switch connected to the WGA600N and then the bedroom stuff into the switch. The only problem is that you have to set the WGA600N up as a bridge.
If you do MAC filtering on your router you may have to turn it off, turn on your gear on the switch side of the WGA600N and then watch for the MAC addresses of your gear and then add them to the filter.
Using WPA2/AES with pre shared key. WGA600N works great.
