They replaced my roof yesterday and the dish guy is coming to re-align the dish. I have a dish 500 and 300. What sats do I need to receive HD signals. Just want to make sure they don't screw it up like the last time this was done.

Dish 300 at 61.5

Dish 500 at 119/110 also, as there are plans for HD as well as all primary programing on these slots

Martyva, a question...

Since I already have a 500 at 119/110, does that mean I won't necessarily need another dish when I go high-def (with a 6000 or a 921 - I haven't decided) if I just wait a while longer?

Glenn, there are rumors that Dish will pipe all new HD programming to 110, but like everything Dish does, we have to wait till they actually do it to see if it's true.

Thanks, Darrell. I'll probably be waiting for awhile anyway since there's so little HD out there yet (at least not enough to justify the :money: ), so now there's one more reason to hang in there a little longer. Dishes on the roof aren't exactly endearing me to my wife. :rolleyes:
