Vizio V032L and remote codes

I recently purchased a Vizio V032L at Costco and cannot seem to get it to work with any of the IR codes on the RC24 remote with a H20 receiver. Does anyone have a solution for this?

If 11756 doesn't work, you're probably out of luck. Before you spend a fortune on a harmony, the radio shack 15-134 is a cheap universal similar to the RC24 which works fine with DirecTV (code 01377) and has many more vizio codes, among them 11758, 10864, 10885, 11499, 11755. If none of those work, the 15-134 could also learn all the functions you need. Good luck.

I looked on the DirecTV website and I cannot find any reference to how to purchase this remote? Where do I buy this one?

Order the $25 “Universal RF Remote” from the D* website. It will be the RC64RB that is RF-capable and backlit. If your receiver has an F-connector on the back for the remote antenna, you might want the $30 “Universal RF Remote + RF Antenna”.

Edmund, from your experience, is the Vizio the code that gets the most requests? Seems that way here, at least.

Jolliec, try the codes Edmund posted above before forking out cash on another remote. I've found that 10056 usually works for 90-95% of all Vizios that I have come across in the field. The only drawback is that I don't think it operates the tv input button even after entering the 960 code.

I have a Vizio 22" (2, actually) and 10019 works for it, I think its an RCA code. The same code works on my 26" Audiovox LCD in the bedroom (actually looks like its a similar display as the on-screen is identical).

Try codes 10178 & 10056.

That worked (code 10056). Input does not work but I can live with that.

You can get an RC32 to do everything but switch input.

However for full function you need the newest RC64. For $15 it is the best option.

I have a Vizio and none of those codes work for me. I have to slide switch on remote to TV and hit POWER button and then slide switch to DTV to use receiver. Pain in the butt! I have tried both the RC34 and RC64 remote with no luck. :nono2:
