I went to a friends house last night and saw WrestleMania 19. I use to be a big wrestling fan but now I just watch it when there is nothing better on.
WrestleMania is a the granddaddy of all Wrestling PPV's so I was interested in seeing last nights show.
I thought the show had some really good high points, but for the most part the show was disapointing.
The highlights for me, was the Shawn Michaels -vs- Chris Jericho match and the surprise return of Roddy Pipper who attacked Hulk Hogan.
The rest of the night was a real downer.
Anyone else see it? What did you think?

I thought it was an 8.5 out of 10. All of the matches were good except the Triple H vs. Booker T match. Most of them could have been better, but the show stealer was probably HBK vs. Jericho. I was very impressed. I can't believe that Piper actually interfered since he talked a lotta crap about WWE the past 6 months, so I would have thought the business relationship wasn't very strong. I doubt that it was anything more than a 1 time deal though. The promo for Goldberg was AWESOME. I can't wait for his debut against The Rock at Backlash. Also, WATCH RAW TONIGHT PEOPLE! LET'S JUST SAY THAT THE WWE MIGHT BE RUNNING ON DIESEL POWER AGAIN VERY SOON! THAT AND A SURPRISE GUEST ON RAW. THAT GUEST HAS CONFIRMED HIS APPEARANCE.

I think it's kind of silly for the WWE to bring back Kevin Nash as "Diesel" again.
Jesus next we are going to have a guy dressed like a clown named DOINK running around in the ring.
And yes Goldberg will be on Raw tonight (he will be bugging the Rock) :D

Brock Lesnar's ill-advised Shooting Star was the biggest letdown of the show. I could tell by looking that Angle was too far away and that Brock would never hit the move. Not only did he miss, he landed right on his head. All that time and money invested in him, almost gone in a split-second of poor judgment. Lesnar made WM history, just not as he intended.
I'd love to have been a fly on the wall at the post-match meeting between Lesnar and McMahon. I bet Vince tore Brock a new one :D

It really pissed me off that they edited the F Bomb when Limp Bizkit played. It's PPV, it's supposed to be uncensored, but I got a damn BEEP!!!!

Actually, Brock hit that shooting star when he practiced it the entire week. All wrestlers make mistakes, but that was a serious one. Luckily, he only got a concussion. Nash is the one that pushed to come back as Diesel, NOT WWE. He said he was going nowhere with his Kevin Nash character. I think it could be awesome if they give him the right angles.
