Sat-C kit

I have a Terk oval dish with two lnb's. I purchased the Sat-C upgrade kit (also Terk) but can't get it to work. The directions that came with it do not even seem to be for a Terk dish (not my model anyway). My current multiplexor (or whatever they call it) is in the stem of my dish next to the lnb's, which makes it impossible to add the additional combiner for the C satellite to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you have an integrated 5x4 multiswitch in the lnb support arm, you do not need the combiner, all you have to do is just plug in the sat c lnb into the multiswitch.

I have an RCA eliptical dual LNB dish. What is this Sat-C upgrade kit or something you are talking about. Will I need this to view the ESPN HD or will my current setup be fine?

The sat-c kit is a 3rd lnb so you can see 3 sats at once. It depends on where they put ESPNHD. Right now they only have the Showtime HD channel on the 3rd sat, but that is going to change soon.

Just call DirecTV customer service. (you may have to ask to speak to a supervisor, most CSRs are, of course, illiterate). They will ship you one at no charge.
