Today was opening day for the Redsoxs. I'm really a Yankees fan but I live in Redsox country up here in NH so I like to watch them from time to time. The newpapers said the game was suppose to be on NESN at 5:15p, but the TIVO guide had ESPNews scheduled to be on NESN from 5pm to 6pm and then from 6pm to 7pm. I spent 15 minutes searching for the game in the guide so that I could record it and watch it later tonight. It wasn't listed anywhere. I turned on NESN at 5:15p and the game was on. My question is this: Can you program the HDVR2 to record a specific channel for a set amount of time? For example, record NESN from 5pm to 8pm. Since the TIVO guide was screwed up I could not record the game. The best I could do is record 3 bogus shows that the TIVO guide said were NESN between 5p and 8p and watch the game in 3 separate showings. This is annoying and I hope that this is just a one time glitch. Any comments?
