Atlanta HD Locals 18 Sept 2008 1600Hrs

All Atlanta Local HD channels are pixelating and loosing signal... SD channels are normal..there are no storms in the area nor any to the southwest of the city.

Not sure what sat handles my locals but I am seeing weak readings on the 99 and 103 that are normally 97+

They have returned to normal... incident lasted about 75 minutes... strange...

I was watching Channel 2 (WSB-DTV) via D* at about 1730 locally. I did not notice anything

I recorded Who Wants To Be A Millionaire on NBC at 4:00pm. It was bad for about the first 20 minutes and then seemed to clear up. It was very strange as the OP said, the weather seemed fine.

The Atlanta local interruption affected all the HD channels, the sd versions were fine, and started around 3:15PM and lasted to around 4:30PM. It was somewhat disconcerting as I had never seen any difficulties with Atlanta locals before. Anyway things returned to normal and seem fine now. As a note, while it was cloudy in Atlanta, 600 mile doppler radar showed no rain activity.

It wasn't just Atlanta, I experienced similar problems at that same time here in SW Florida.

If you are losing (not loosing) your signal on all your locals, it's not the stations, it's your provider.
